            The Short Version: We don't collect your data. Your scores, notes, and photos stay on your device. We can't see them, and we don't want to.
        

1. Data Collection

Grade your Day is a "local-first" application. This means:

Personal Data: Your daily grades, categories, notes, and photo URIs are stored directly on your device using encrypted local storage.
No Accounts: You do not need to create an account to use the App. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number.

2. Third-Party Services

While we do not collect your data, we use trusted third-party services to ensure the App runs smoothly:

RevenueCat: Used to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier to verify your purchase status. They do not see your private journal entries.
Apple App Store: All payments are processed by Apple. Your financial information is never shared with us.

3. Photos and Camera

If you choose to add a photo to a daily entry, the App requires access to your photo library. These images remain on your device. We do not upload them to any servers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Since your data is stored locally, deleting the App will delete all your entries unless you have backed up your device via iCloud. We cannot recover deleted data for you because we never had it.

5. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no data is transmitted to us, the App is inherently safe for all users regarding data privacy.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
